Re: the pandemic

Urbandale IA

Description

Why would you not support the way Gov Reynolds handled the pandemic? As the facts started to come to light, she made the decisions that needed to be made. This is Iowa. We are a state full of essential products for people to manage to survive. The entire Midwest is full of essential products. Ethanol for your gasoline. Beef, pork, and chicken for people to eat. Biodiesel for trucks. In case you are unaware, trucks move everything that you have and use in your daily life. LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Iowa is home to many trucking companies and they are absolutely essential. That’s just a few things, the list can go on for a long long time. Gov Reynolds just came to reality faster and figured out that if we shut down and close everything for 6 months, WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE ABLE TO LIVE! When we look at the facts surround the virus 1 - it was already here in July or august of 2019. You just didn’t know about it. The blood network tested blood donations from September and October of 2019. They found Covid antibodies in some of those donations. 2 - masks didn’t prevent anything. As a practicing MD with 40 years of experience said to me. “You wear a mask. Do you still get oxygen they that mask? Does the carbon dioxide get released from behind that mask? Then an airborne virus can still get thru that mask.” 3 - your own “expert” Dr. Fauci, is on video saying that everyone will eventually get the virus. No matter what you do, everyone will get the disease at some point. 4 - look at the supply chain issues in this country right now. Store shelves sell out within hours of receiving product. Can’t find parts to fix your car, appliances and houses. Inflation at record levels. What else was the governor supposed to do? Living off the federal government is not a long term solution. You can’t hide from problems like this, you have to figure out how to adapt and overcome.
