Full Time Live Out Fairhaven Area Co-Nanny Needed - $23/hr

Our family is looking for a full time live out co-nanny to help care for our infant daughter, our two year old daughter, and four year old son starting end of June or early July. Our current co-nanny is going to school in Seattle and we're very sad to see her go but are hoping to find someone great to join our crew! The hourly rate for this position is $23/ hour and our current nanny averages about 38 hours per week. Overtime is paid if necessary (40+ hours in a week) and taxes are taken out. You will be splitting job duties with another nanny who has been with our family for the last two years. Our home is located near Fairhaven. Both parents have flexible remote work jobs but are out of the house most of the day and available if needed. 8:30am – 4pm Monday through Friday with occasional (1-2x/month) evenings for date night. Both parents will be home April - July for maternity/paternity leave but we'd still like some help with all the kids during leave so we can get some rest while we adjust to life as a family of five. Our family is seeking a candidate with a positive attitude, proactive mindset, and a lot of empathy to work through those big toddler feels. We’d like a nanny who can engage our toddlers in constructive play and learning activities throughout the day. They are both very smart and sweet. They love books, singing, the outdoors, and any silly games you can make up! We will provide everything needed for engaging play and are open to new ideas from you for materials or activities. We would like them to spend some time each week socializing with other babies near their age through activities, classes, or play dates. Montessori and whole brain child methodology (Big Little Feelings is a great place to check out whole brain methodology) are preferred. Occasional domestic and international travel with the family. Your willingness to take on housekeeping and organization tasks when the kids are napping is a huge help to us. Reliable transportation and non-smoking required. If the right candidate doesn’t have CPR or first aid certification then we will pay for them to obtain it. Must be fully vaccinated, including against Covid.
