Overview: Seeking a versatile person that can help to organize and work within a home based event business. Ideally, the person is flexible, reliable, and able to safely operate a vehicle. A quick learner, organized and open to a variety of activities and directions. Job Duties and responsibilities: Organize balloons in a way that is effective for finding and cataloging for a small home based business Properly inflate balloons as needed for prep for jobs Read balloon instruction sheets and follow directions Identify and match customer colors and reference pictures Help install balloon garlands in various locations, eventually installing without assistance Travel throughout the Los Angeles area safely and following all CA laws Order balloons as needed and pick up from Glendale, El Monte, or downtown LA Pop and properly dispose of balloons as needed Great customer service skills to answer client questions, taking on site direction from clients within reason Capable of making on the spot decisions on site, in line with jd Transport and organize materials in storage facility Provide ideas and thoughts on logistics that might help business operation Deliver balloon designs as needed with great attention to detail and presentation Provide proactive communication on availability and completion of projects Pick up, assemble and break down rental items as needed Pick up and deliver rental vehicles Pay: $20 per hour, 5-10 hours per week or as needed, can increase depending on jobs booked, mostly weekends and evenings PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must wear provided PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and adhere to all safety guidelines and requirements, when neededModerate to extensive degree of physical and emotional stamina Travel to multiple sites may be required, access to a personal vehicle preferred Safely follow all workplace safety guidelines Comfortable climbing up ladders and step stools as needed Frequent and prolonged standing, walking, and sitting Frequent talking and hearing conversations Occasional reaching with hands and arms Occasionally lifting up to 25 lbs Ability to follow oral directions in emergency situations Must not have an allergy to latex
