Part-Time Help for a Full-Time Ice Cream Lover! 2 jobs available on-call! Artisan ice cream company that churns out (pun intended!) amazing ice cream in the Los Angeles area looking for immediate on-call part-time help! Bluebird Ice Creamery is Los Angeles' premier sundae bar catering company. We have events lined up and always need on-call van drivers/set up and servers for both mid-week and/or weekends as we head into our busy season. 2 Positions available: 1. Van driver/setup - we are looking for a confident excellent driver with a clean driving record and experience driving a commercial van to: a. Drive to our location in Woodland Hills to pick up our company van that will be loaded with all of the supplies for an event. b. Drive to the event location. c. Unload all of the supplies with the help of another employee. d. Set-up sundae bars, etc with the help of another employee. e. Help serve guests for 2 hours. f. Break down, load van and bring all supplies back to base location in Woodland Hills. g. Must be neat, friendly, professional and personable. This position requires a VERY confident and experienced driver with a CLEAN driving record. (We will check.) Must be able to lift 25-30 lbs. Must be available on weekends, as well as week days. This is an ON-CALL position and you may pick and choose the events that you want to do. However, we are looking for someone that is reliable and is willing and able to work often. Pay is $125 per event plus tips (which are often $50 or more). Total working time approx 5 hours depending on drive. 1099 will be issued at year end. 2. Ice Cream Catering Server - we are looking for an on-call server who is available on weekends and weekdays to work at events around Los Angeles. You will meet our van driver at the event location, help them to unload and set up, serve guests for 2 hours, break down and help load van for departure. Requirements: a. Friendly, personable, professional, upbeat and neat to serve cups of ice cream out of our carts or create ice cream sandwiches. No scooping! That is done in advance in our kitchen. b. Looking for flexible work that is on-call and can be 7 days a week up until midnight, but is mostly on weekends. c. Must be able to lift 15 lbs. This is an ON-CALL position and you may pick and choose the events that you want to do. However, we are looking for someone that is reliable and is willing and able to work often. Pay is $75 per event plus tips (which are often $50 or more). 1099 will be issued at year end. Total working time is 3.5 hours. We will provide company t-shirts and aprons.
