MINNESOTA — A new poll shows that Joe Biden has a commanding lead over President Donald Trump in Minnesota. A Washington Post/ABC News poll finds that Biden has a 16-point lead over Trump among "likely voters."
The same poll finds that Biden leads by 6 percentage points in neighbor Wisconsin.
In 2016, Trump lost Minnesota by about one percent, and he won Wisconsin by roughly the same margin.
Both Democrats and Republics are making Minnesota a national priority this fall. Trump and Biden are set to travel to Minnesota Friday.
The Democratic presidential nominee will tour a union training center and deliver remarks, according to his campaign.
Trump will visit Bemidji Friday. It's his sixth trip since becoming president, and second visit within the month.
