This job opening is for Parking Lot & Warehouse Pavement Marking. The job entails all aspects of layout, equipment operation & maintenance, line removal, surface prep & sign installation. Some interaction with customers will be required. Ideal candidate must have the following assets. Self-Starter. Able to scrutinize the quality of your own work. Must have basic mechanical skills and basic math skills. Must be able to read blueprints. Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass a DOT physical to drive company trucks. Ability to drive pickup with 20' covered trailer (backing skills). Physically able to be on your feet all day with miles of walking & lots of bending down for layout. Willingness to work on a varying schedule and work weekends - our work is not 8-5. Willingness and ability to do work out of state alone or as a team. This is a physical job but not physically hard. It is mostly seasonal but there is some "off season" work when we have warehouse work to do. We do work 7 days per week and the schedule is always changing due to weather, customer schedules etc. Understanding and/or experience in the site work (landscaping, dirt, concrete, parking, etc.) aspect of the construction industry would be very helpful. Pay will be determined by experience, ability, intelligence, common sense, communication skills, willingness to learn and attitude. We don't stop work when our employees get 40 hours or Friday rolls around.
