MINNETONKA, MN — The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a fatal crash on southbound Interstate 494 at Highway 7 in Minnetonka Tuesday morning. The southbound 494 ramp to eastbound Highway 7 will be closed for "an extended period of time," police said. According to emergency dispatch audio reviewed by the Star Tribune, a motorcyclist was getting off I-494 around 7 a.m. before slipping off the ramp and entering a ditch.
