Looking for hard working individuals to be part of a team that buries fiber lines to residential and commercial addresses. Must have reliable transportation to get to the lot for work each day. Some of the responsibilities include the following: -ResponsibilitiesMust be able to work with minimal supervision & follow directions closely. -Passes tools to line crew or network crew members by acting as a general helper on the ground. -Handles cables, conduit and other materials as directed. -Assists in installing telecommunication fixtures. -Performs general clean-up of job sites following completion of work. -Assists telecom crew lineman with lowering and raising tools or other heavy materials to team members working below or above. -Operates hand tools as authorized or trained. -Flags traffic to protect employees and the public from potential harm or injury. -May assist lineman as directed, operating jackhammer or digging bars to break concrete or rocks. -Learning new skills and techniques on a continual basis and passing that on to others. -May drive 3/4-ton or 1-ton pickup truck to job site or to obtain supplies. -Adhere to industry-specific, local, state, and federal regulations, as applicable. -Performs other duties as assigned. -Job duties are subject to change as directed by team leadership -Local candidates preferred as relocation assistance is not available for this position. -Occasional standing, walking, and kneeling and crawling are required. -Be able to lift 50lbs. -Knowledge of materials and tools used in line construction and maintenance work -Dependable and Trustworthy -Work under any type of weather conditions -Work independently or as part of a team and relate well to co-workers -Additional -Information:The ideal candidates must be comfortable working/traveling throughout utility service territory state/city. -Required ability to work full time with a minimum of 40 hours per week regularly. -Compensation based on proven experience. -Associated topics: clean, cleaning, crew, excavator, glazier, laborer, maintain, mop, move, roofer
