GILROY, CA — A sexual assault suspect was arrested Thursday, the Gilroy Police Department said. Jeffrey Guenther, 38, was arrested at around 3:30 p.m. in the 8300 block of Church Street in Gilroy during the service of an arrest and search warrant, police said. Guenther was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on several sexual assault-related charges. Police said their investigation of this case is ongoing.
