Carrollwood Day School is looking for a self-motivated, hard-working, detail-oriented, responsible, and reliable Events Setup & General Maintenance Technician to add to our team. Well qualified applicants for this full-time position will enjoy working in a school environment, will want to learn and grow in their role, will embrace a customer service mentality and will take pride in doing their job with efficiency, professionalism, and a smile. Experience preferred but not necessary as long as you are willing to learn and grow. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk and climb stairs Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with approved equipment May stand and walk for extended periods of time Qualifications: Must be able to pass extensive background screening High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required Computer skills are required (Google suite, jotforms, digital calendars) Preference for previous experience with events setup and/or coordination Experience working within a K-12 school environment is a plus Must possess and present a positive attitude and professional appearance Ability to perform assigned duties safely in proximity to students and staff Ability, willingness, and judgment to interact and communicate courteously Ability to maintain composure and efficiency under pressure and/or stressful situations Ability and motivation to work independently and achieve results on time Must have dependable transportation and a valid Florida driver’s license Carrollwood Day School is a private school located on 39 acres in North Tampa, FL with over 200,000 SF of buildings.
