Apply today! Job Objective(s) Complete all maintenance assignments in a timely manner. Assist outside vendors working on building and/or equipment issues. Provide oversight and emergency response to all campus equipment and systems. Complete inspections as required and assigned. Work with various agencies regarding codes and inspections. Job Responsibilities and Duties • Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed. • Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently. • Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance • Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues. • Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns • Maintain the grounds; trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc • Test the resident security systems as required. • Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to; trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc. • Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed. Qualifications • Two years education and/or experience in maintenance, preferably residential property management. • Boiler License helpful • Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows. • Ability to motivate oneself and work independently • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record • Ability to relate to the elderly in a patient, compassionate and courteous manner. • Maintains confidentiality • Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English.
