I play drums and sing / I have played guitar for decades but my place in this band would be behind the drum kit. Obviously that means there needs to be a person who would be Bowie. Is that you? There would need to be a guitar player to cover ALL the parts from Ronno to Reeves to Fripp to Belew and Alomar. Is that you? There would have to be a keyboard/synth/Eno person: is that you? There should be a bass player. Is this you? I think this conversation needs to happen. Not just a "Bowie greatest hits" or Ziggy-tribute.
