We are looking to hire a Small Engine Mechanic ! Provides repair and maintenance services for all company equipment ensure smooth operation and uninterrupted delivery of services. - Provides maintenance and repair services for all equipment and fleet vehicles. - Maintains a parts inventory list of frequently used items. - Provides emergency repair services when needed. - Tracks and executes a maintenance schedule for all fleet vehicles and equipment. - Provides input regarding equipment usage or future purchases. - Documents details of repairs and parts used and ensures this is recorded in job history. - Directs administrative assistant in parts purchases in order to get highest quality product for best price. - Provides hands on instruction and direction in high quality maintenance and repair for other employees. - Provides Sr. Staff with input on problem equipment that may require replacement. - Inspects and removes from service any equipment or vehicles that are unsafe until properly repaired. Formal training in mechanical repairs and functions and Valid Driver License is required. A minimum of one year of experience in small engine/2 cycle repair is required. Must have experience with machine, vehicle maintenance and repair also. Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Strong troubleshooting skills are essential.
