We are a small fine gardening company in Hingham MA seeking people to join our team. It’s important that you enjoy being outdoors, interested in gardening tasks and care about the earth. Our primary focus is maintaining and creating garden beds for clients in which they delight in themselves and are proud to show off to their friends. Seasonal color, planters and holiday décor are also becoming quite popular with our client base, so we provide these services as well. Season traditionally begins 1st to 2nd week of April weather contingent and ends 1st week December. Field work schedule is Monday through Thursday 8am-4pm. Fridays are used as a rainy day and yard area organization time. Start time will change to 7am when the heat begins which is usually late June through end of August. FINE GARDENER CREW LEADERS’ QUAILIFICATIONS- Have a valid driver’s license Have a positive attitude and be flexible when necessary. Care about quality workmanship and willing to work hard to achieve daily tasks. Be respectful and keep your crew team focused on good gardening practices. Be able to delegate, instruct, & perform various garden tasks with a crew of 3 to 4 individuals Familiarity with tools necessary to perform various tasks Have perennial and shrub identification knowledge Have knowledge /experience with perennial care and pruning techniques Record and calculate totals of job details for each client serviced. Ability to drive truck and trailer ( will train if needed) Must be able to lift min of 25lbs.
