I run a small property maintenance business out of Haverhill, MA. I am the owner and currently looking for someone to help me with the work load that is coming in. I am a one guy business established in 2014. At this time I have a few apartment renovations going on and some other jobs waiting to go next. I do things from painting, flooring, drywall, light framing, landscaping and anything that requires a handyman. I am looking for someone who has transportation; a valid license and a car. You should have at least some basic tools of your own, drill, screw drivers, measuring tape. You need to have knowledge on the tasks I listed above. If you do not know everything completely or need a quick review I do not mind helping, but your understanding on these tasks is necessary and must be able to pick things up quick and ask questions before errors are made. I am looking for someone who will be able to work independently if needed but also able to work with me on jobs. If I send you to a job to replace a window, install a door, paint a room, drywall and mud, frame a wall etc., you need to have the ability to do the job with out supervision. We also landscape so you need to be able to work outside in the heat if needed. Lastly, you must be responsible, punctual, respectful, motivated and takes initiative on task that are obvious to the job. To START I am offering $20 an hour cash. I say to start because I need to know that you are able to do the job correctly. If after 2 weeks you can prove to me you are able to do the work I will increase it to $25 an hour cash. Doing the work means correctly, independently or with others. Pay is Friday work is Monday-Friday with possible spontaneous days off could be due to weather for an outdoor job or waiting for delivery parts or other contractors need to get into the project before us.
