MORGAN HILL, CA — The United States Geological Survey is reporting two earthquakes struck the Morgan Hill area a minute apart Tuesday morning.
An earthquake with an initial magnitude of 4.0 hit at 6:58 a.m., followed by a 3.6 quake one minute later. The magnitude of the first quake has been downgraded to 3.7.
There haven't been any reports of injuries or damage due to the earthquake.
People as far north as Sausalito report feeling the first earthquake. Did you feel it?

Back in 1984, a 6.2 earthquake in Morgan Hill injured some 2 dozen people, but there were no deaths. Widespread damage was recorded in Morgan Hill, with minor damage in nearby communities.
