GILROY, CA — A retired Gilroy Fire Division Chief has taken a new role. Mary Gutierrez was named Seaside's fire chief Monday, The Gilroy Dispatch reports. Gutierrez had worked for the Gilroy Fire Department since 2014 before retiring in January, the report said.
