Landscaping company seeking qualified small engine mechanic to assist shop supervisor in equipment maintenance and repairs. This is a full-time position through the landscaping season.
JOB DUTIES:
*Perform routine maintenance on landscaping equipment, i.e. line trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, 21" self-propelled mowers, walk-behind and riding hydraulic mowers.
*Troubleshoot and perform repairs on equipment.
*Perform maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers.
*Assist crews with repairs in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Valid driver's license with good driving record.
*At least one year of experience in small engine care and repair.
*Ability to routinely lift 50+ lbs.
Experience in the the following areas is preferred, but not required:
*Trailer wiring, including brake controllers.
*Proficiency in steel and aluminum welding.
*Experience in landscape and lawn care field.
*Snow plow use and repair
*401k available after 1 yr.
