Description

During his first year in office, President Obama canceled plans to put ground-based missile defense interceptors in Poland and the Czech Republic. Why? Because Russia saw it as a provocation. Even though missile interceptors are defensive only - only useful if Russia launched an attack. Nevertheless, Obama capitulated. There is more: In 2013 Obama green-lit the transfer of control over 20% of U.S. uranium-mining capacity to Russia. Uranium is, of course, the key ingredient in nuclear weapons. The kicker here is that Hillary Clinton, Obama's Secretary of State, green-lit the sale. And it was later discovered that Russian business people with close financial ties to Uranium One donated millions to the Clinton Foundation before and after the sale. Still more: Russia's Silicon Valley: In 2012, the Obama administration, helped Russia create Skolkovo - an innovation city near Moscow, modeled after our Silicon Valley. The U.S. encouraged American companies and venture capitalists to assist Russia. Even Cisco, Google, and Intel got involved in propping up Russia's tech hub. Even More: The Iran deal: Yes, this also goes back to Russia. In 2015 the Obama administration agreed to the Iran Deal, which would allow Iran to ultimately have nuclear weapons by 2030. Meanwhile, Russia is the contractor for Iran's largest nuclear reactor. Right before the Iran Deal, Russia and Iran signed an agreement to build between 2 and 8 nuclear actors along the Persian Gulf. Let's not forget that in 2012, Obama was caught on a hot mic telling Russian President Dimitry Medvedev: "After my election, I have more flexibility." Medvedev replied that he would "transmit this information to Vladimir." And so here we are even more concerned about our young and the threat of war.
