The Idan Society [ee'-dan] is a new philanthropic, non-profit organization seeking idealistic volunteers leading to selected payed employment to assist in establishing Idan chapters called IEP - Iota Epsilon Pi [Greek for "ideal romantic love"] for out-reach on colleges and universities in the metro Boston area, then nationally. Volunteers will start on a track leading to paid internships and eventual part and/or full-time employment for selected individuals. Idan Society is named for the Greek word "ideal", and grounded in principles of romantic relationship compatibility to provide free selective enrollment, and exclusive one-to-one introductions at nominal cost, for people who reject the randomness and vulgarity of the bars and clubs scene, and the mass "supermarket-dating" agencies in contemporary mating-culture. Rather than just waiting for uncertain chance to meet someone romantically, non-profit Idan seeks to match those who would welcome being conveniently and respectfully introduced exclusively, one-to-one, to like-minded, compatible people whom they would otherwise not have the opportunity to meet.
