27 year old Guitar/Keyboard player - Looking for local musicians

27 y/o lead guitarist with several years of keys under my belt also, living in downtown Dover. I’m much more of a guitarist than a keys player, but am on my way to holding my own on the ivories. 13 years of guitar experience. John Mayer is a big influence, not the pop stuff you hear on the radio but his guitar/blues oriented work. I’m very versatile and able to play a wide array of genres. The last few years I have been listening heavily to the following: Jason Isbell Marcus King Tom Misch Allen Stone Daniel Caesar Giveon Dave Matthews Chris Stapleton Leon Bridges Tyler Childers Sturgill Simpson Shakey Graves Post Malone Parker McCollum The Mavericks I also do enjoy a lot of the classic rock acts, but am trying to refrain from citing here because I don’t want that to be the focus. I grew up on Pink Floyd, AC/DC and Zeppelin just like a lot of us. I enjoy playing their music, but I am not just looking for a classic rock cover band. I’m not particularly looking for a coverband doing the acoustic G C D bar band kind of stuff. Really looking for musicians who can explore and jam and get better along with me. I want to be able to communicate with each other and learn each other’s strengths and weaknesses, playing off of them. I have a room set up with small recording appliances i.e. Ableton, mics, monitors. I work at sea for a couple months at a time. With this schedule it’s hard to get any kind of continuity going and make a lot of progress, but I’d like to throw a line out there just to see who else is looking.
