Description
I was staying in the AirBnb at the end of the street. You were sitting on your porch, smoking a cigarette. You saw me pacing around outside and you asked if I was ok. I told you I was having a panic attack and that I needed to pace back and forth to calm myself down. You asked if I wanted to chat. We talked about the neighborhood, your house, your job. You helped distract me and get me out of my head. After about 15 minutes, I started to calm down and felt like I could breathe again. You might not know it, but you saved me from spiraling into a pit of agony. I'm not sure if I believe in divine intervention or guardian angels or any of that, but I do know that you were there right when I needed compassion and empathy most of all. I just wanted to say thank you.
