Primary Responsibilities: We are hiring for multiple Vineyard mechanic positions and will be looking to fill roles both at the beginner level, as well as advanced level of skill. These positions will be responsible for maintaining the vineyard department’s fleet of equipment. The duties will include, but not be limited to the following: • Install and calibrate various tractor implements (mechanical, hydraulic, electronic) • Coordinate and perform repairs • Preventative maintenance and part ordering/organization • Fabricate parts and equipment as needed • Communicate with multiple people; prioritize among multiple ongoing operations • Providing leadership to others through teaching • Self-teaching and independent research of strategy/task-pertinent information • Long hours at times; flexible attitude towards the busy season Desired Requirements: • Highly self-motivated • Honest and hard-working • Willingness to communicate across cultures in a multi-lingual environment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Valid WA driver’s license Benefits: • Pay: Depends on experience • Tool rent (2% of purchase value, paid monthly, up to a limit) • Paid holidays • Paid vacation & sick time • Medical Insurance • Dental Insurance • Vision Insurance • Long Term Disability Insurance 100% paid for the employee • Life Insurance - $50,000 provided by employer for the employee, with optional additional life insurance available for both the employee and dependents • 401(k) retirement plan with 4% employer match after 1 year • Bonus program – Position is eligible for our generous annual bonus program • Chance to get in on the ground floor and be a vital part of our expanding operation
