You understand,of course, that politicians have zero control over the price of gasoline? The pumping of oil is controlled by the conglomerate that owns the oil! That would be primarily the Saudis! Every time they see anyone getting ahead in the world they lower the supply of oil and run up the price to suck the money out of the middle and lower class creating strife and need by those who can least afford it. You don’t ever see the wealthy getting upset over the price of oil going up or down because they have the money. You and I don’t, we see the results directly out of our pockets. Too many people have to choose to drive or eat.
