I hike with groups but I really enjoy doing it with just one other person. My two past partners were hikers and backpackers Humor but truth. Now I say I am too old to carry 60lbs at 10,000' although I never did. For some years there were three of us including our daughter. Things change in the lives of two of my other two buddies and I lose them.
