Description
We adopted this precious puppy January 27th for $550, as per ad above (in the west valley Phoenix Arizona) We were so excited about the new little addition to our family.. not knowing that she had parvo. Within an hour after we had picked her up she had diarrhea ( we thought at first it was possibly car sickness as we were traveling back home to the Central Coast in California) She was not able to hold down any food. Even water was hard for her to keep down. We had picked her up on Thursday afternoon and had to rush her to the vets by Saturday morning as we were seeing blood in her stools and her energy failing. She could not eat anything.. She was tested and diagnosed with parvo... We have tried to contact the man we purchased her from.. He will not respond to phone calls or text?! We asked for the number of the breeder to inform her of the parvo, but never received it. His story, when we purchased her, was that he had purchased the puppy with a lady friend, and she could not have it at the apartment she was moving in to. What We were told that the breeder works at UPS, she speaks Spanish, her son speaks english, and that they met up at a plaza to purchase the puppy. She had a pamphlet showing her first parvo shot vaccine.
Our hearts are still aching 😥. Who would have thought that something so little in such a short amount of time could touch our hearts so deeply. She was such a trooper and precious spirit. We tried with the parvo treatments, puppy formula, boiled minced chicken and rice, cottage cheese, etc...to save her, but it was too late.
Please be careful. Parvo is out there and it causes death and alot of pain.😥
