We are hiring pipefitters/HVAC pipe installers in Austin Tx! Position duties entail: • Utilize and interpret blueprints to determine how and where to install piping systems. • Measure, mark dimensions and lay out material to be installed using tools such as lasers, rulers, calculators and squares. • Solder, braze with oxygen & acetylene, use glue and primer. • Install hanger assemblies for piping using unistrut, nuts washers, and clevis hangers. • Ensure that efficiency is maximized while fabricating and installing HVAC systems • Use of hand and power tools. • Ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activities, including using power tools and ladders. • Install rooftop units, split systems, mini splits, chilled/hot water air handling units, hydronic piping • Install split system piping, install, piping insulation, condensate piping, chill water, hot water Qualifications and Experience: Required: • High School diploma or equivalent • Ability to lift heavy material and tools up to 75lbs • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints • Excellent math skills Preferred: • 1-4 years of experience • OSHA 10 Certification • Knowledge of building codes
