BP and Shell have cut ties with Russia. These companies have pulled their stake in Russian oil. These companies are ignoring billions of dollars invested and billions of dollars in profit from Russian oil. We need to support the companies that stand up to Putins tyranny. Without oil exports, Russia will suffer catastrophic economic hardship. Snuffing out Putin's right of terror will require "death by a thousand cuts". Killing Russian soil exports is a HUGE cut to Russia. Putin banked one the idea that oil companies would stand by his side in order to maintain profit. Putin was wrong. Boycotting Russian vodka is symbolic. Boycotting Russian oil is a major blow to Putin.
