Join instructor Amanda Strojinc to learn all about hobby beekeeping in this Community Education course at Lakeshore Technical College! What's the buzz about beekeeping? Join instructor Amanda Strojinc for Exploring Beekeeping, a Community Education course at Lakeshore Technical College on Saturday, March 26 for an introduction to hobby beekeeping. Learn about the history of bees, gain an understanding of beehives, the life cycle of a honeybee, byproducts of the hive, and the overall beekeeping hobby. The session will also include information about solitary bees that are a great fit for gardeners and/or those with limited space and time. You will be able to make a well-informed decision about keeping bees after this class! About the instructor: Amanda Strojinc is a Sheboygan native and has been a beekeeper for 7 years. She works full time as a registered nurse and in her downtime shares knowledge of beekeeping, food preservation and a variety of other skills under the LLC Hopefully Homesteading.
