Description

Participatory Teaching Techniques for Community-Based Learning Join us to kick off Spring term, learn new teaching techniques, and leave with a portable teaching tool to engage your students. This workshop will highlight participatory pedagogical approaches that foster a democratic and inclusive learning environment and engage students through multiple approaches to learning. Together we will explore ways to equalize voice in the classroom (and in our session) by allowing for multiple ways to “participate” in the teaching and learning process. Participants will walk away with a teaching tool that includes over 40 participatory techniques for use in community-based learning. Follow us on Instagram: @alltogethernowCEL https://alltogethernowcel.weebly.com/#/ This is an in person event that will take place at the Office of Academic Innovation.
