Laynie Travis - Host/Speaker Laynie is in love with Jesus, her husband Reese, and their four children, Barrett, Sloane, Sylvie and Boone. Laynie was saved at a young age and has always been a student of God’s word. In the midst of raising a large family, Laynie felt the Lord nudge her to put her faith into action and start a Bible study in her local community. Suddenly, a new passion was born inside of her. That one faith step has now inspired Laynie to not only teach, but also start writing Bible studies, books, and devotionals. Laynie has published four Bible studies, and has produced her own podcast titled “Gospel on the Go.” She is also the founder of Take Heart Ministries which is a nonprofit designed to encourage and equip women in the faith. Through this nonprofit, Laynie leads and hosts a yearly women’s conference and many other ministry endeavors. Laynie is passionate about communicating the Good News of Jesus and the power of His Word through teaching and writing and is excited to see all that God has for her in ministry and in life. Stephanie Kutter - Worshop Leader Stephanie Kutter is a wife, mom of 3 & Worship Pastor at Life.Church in Oklahoma City. She’s a Texas native who, although proud of her Texan roots, is also very proud to call herself an adopted Okie. Aside from her family Stephanie is passionate about people not only following Christ, but also creating a space where they can experience the power of God’s presence. She is motivated by the belief that families, communities, countries & ultimately the world can be transformed when just one person is mobilized by the presence of God to bring His hope to others! Jennifer Cantrell My name is Jennifer Cantrell. I have been a follower of Jesus for over 30 years. I am married to my wonderful husband Matt for 17 years now and we have three kids. My oldest daughter Kesley is 15, my daughter Kylie is 14 and my son Ryker is 11. I have homeschooled my kids for the past 8 years and this year we felt called to enter them back into public school where they are doing great! One of my passions is the discipleship of young women which I am currently involved in. My husband and I have lead various small groups over the years and are currently the host home for our small group. We serve on the “Hello” team each weekend at church and are also leaders in a student leadership ministry during the summers. We have been members of Battlecreek church in Tulsa for roughly 14 years. Hospitality is important to us and we love to have people in our home regularly! During a severe illness my mom lived with us for 2 years and I took care of her and about a year ago a young single mom and her baby lived with us for 9 months. I still help take care of the baby who is now 2 1/2 years old. We love that the Lord uses our home as a hospital for others! Cheryl Meares - Panelist Cheryl Meares was born and raised in Yukon, OK. She is married to her husband Josh of almost 13 years, blessed with two amazing kids and has a passion for photography. She is a Pastor at Life.Church in Yukon where she has been the Operations Pastor for 12 years. She has a passion to see lives changes through the power of Jesus and shares her story of healing, redemption, and restoration from drugs, affairs, and childhood trauma in hopes that others will know that there is hope and healing in the midst of pain. Montrae Tisdal & the Friends Chorale Montrae Tisdale... The Oklahoma based singer, songwriter and producer has had a passion for gospel music since his early childhood. Raised in the church, Montrae’s vision is to bridge the gap between traditional gospel music and contemporary Christian music. His love for music is heavily inspired by the work of legendary musicians and vocalists like his uncle, Jazz Legend Wayman Tisdale and Dalon Collins, formerly of Kirk Franklin and the Family, Dr. Ricky Dillard, Professor Craig Hayes, Kevin Lemons & Earnest Pugh. Montrae is an active member of the Greater Mt. Olive Baptist Church Oklahoma City, and though he is a gifted and sought after artist, he remains rooted and grounded in the biblical foundation in which he was brought up. In November 2010, Montrae established The Friends Chorale which is an extension of MTJ Ministries. Montrae Tisdale and The Friends Chorale have gained local and national exposure by being featured in Verizon’s How Sweet the Sound National Choir Competition, Bishop Hezekiah Walker's Choir Fest, and performing at Chicago’s legendary Sweet Holy Spirit Church Bishop Larry D Trotter. April 2013 Montrae Tisdale-Johnson and The Friends Chorale released their inaugural project “I’m Alive” featuring Jonathan Nelson. Paying tribute to one of his mentors, Montrae also included a high energetic version of Dr. Ricky Dillard’s “Search Me Lord.” Montrae’s most recent record entitled “Bishop Larry Trotter Presents” charted in the top #31 on gospel billboard charts. The album featured some of the greatest national artist Jonathan Nelson, Bishop Larry Trotter, Tela Robinson, Malcolm Williams, Bishop Carlton Pearson, Lillian Lloyd. Montrae currently has a new single entitled “Help Me Lift Jesus” featuring National Recording artist Beverly Crawford. Montrae Tisdale is also a radio personality and star of the Montrae Tisdale Radio Show that is ranked as the top ranked #1 gospel charting show in the state of Oklahoma. Ever seeking to enhance his craft, Montrae has had the honor of performing at the Gospel Music Workshop of America, sharing the stage with gospel greats: Vicky Winans, Pastor Shirley Caesar, Malcolm Williams, Dr. Ricky Dillard, Professor Craig Hayes, Fred Hammond, and Marvin Sapp. His musical gift is evident and undeniable.
