We are honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by deepening our knowledge of poverty and its effects on our community. His life's work was built around fighting poverty and inequity. Today, we have a duty to keep his life and legacy alive by learning, listening and taking action.
"The Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE) is an immersive role-play learning experience, that gives participants an opportunity to experience poverty through the eyes of real people who have lived life facing its challenges. Participants will walk away with a deeper understanding of the impact it can have on families and communities." - C.O.P.E Poverty Simulation.
