Join local artist Rae Faba for an evening of painting and beer at Akron's coolest local brewery. Are you a real messy painter? Like to use your hands, bits of cardboard or a butter knife when you paint? Curious about the Jasper Johns flag painting at the Akron Art Museum? Or have you heard the term "wet on wet painting" and aren't quite sure what it means? This event is for you!! Rae will walk you through "Impasto America" one easy step at a time. We'll figure out wet on wet technique, use unconventional painting tools and think thick textures! At the end of the event you will have your own take-home masterpiece. All painting are supplies included, plus a token for one beer. Walk in tickets do not include a beer token.
