PDPlay, a specialty installation general contractor, seeks skilled Commercial Playground Installers. Office and shop are in Escondido, CA and job sites are both local and across the States. Installers will need to have close attention to detail, excellent workmanship and general construction skills. We are currently seeking both installers and crew leaders that can manage a team of 3-5 installers Candidates should be reliable, able to follow a schedule, and work with minimum supervision while cooperating and contributing to a crew with a teamwork attitude. Ideally, we are looking for someone with at least 2 years of in-the-field trade experience, and working knowledge of construction practices. Experience in related trades will be considered. Role Requirements: - Willing to travel for work, possibly out of state for up to several weeks at a time - Valid driver’s license with clean driving record - No felonies or warrants, must be able to pass a government background check - Basic knowledge and use of hand power tools - Ability to read and understand detailed drawings/blueprints - Work efficiently without sacrificing quality - Follow company schedules and project schedules - Motivate crew and keep them on track - Must keep neat and clean appearance, and be professional at all times - Good communication skills - Must speak English, ability to speak Spanish (bilingual) a plus - Ability to lift 75 lbs. from the floor without assistance Preferred, not required: - Playground Construction background - OSHA 30 Certification - Understanding Surveying and grading concepts - Ability to operate heavy equipment Please send resume with verifiable employment history.
