Description

Have a story or a script you want to get produced? Learn how to make a conception pitch for your idea to Producers, Directors and Investors. Before you can make a movie, you need to pitch your ideas to those that will produce, direct and most importantly, invest. At this workshop, facilitated by award winning writer, director and film/theatre educator, Jonathan Tazewell, you will learn in depth how to make a pitch for your conception. Afterwards, enter into our competition to be one of 5 winners who will get a chance to pitch their story live at the Columbus Black International Film Festival. The winner at CBIFF will work with Gravitate to create a professional pitch package in addition to pre-production consultation from Amachi Yah Productions, up to $1000. Join us at the Roy G Biv Gallery located in the Franklinton Arts District to learn and grow new skills. Admission is $40.00 and lunch will be provided.
