Refine your kettlebell technique and the learn the basics of Indian Clubs and Mace/Gada
The intention of this unique workshop is to create a safe and solid foundation of practice through the introduction of regressions and progressions. Perfect for beginners and those looking to refine technique; we focus primarily on the basics.
These three modalities are rich in history and utilize mobility, strength, dexterity, coordination and rotational power... Reap the many benefits of mid-line body crossing movements.
These tools can be easily added into your current training practices/programs.
We’ll begin this course with an introduction to Indian clubs basics…knowledge of grip position/transitions and a thorough breakdown of the basic circles and patterns
Once we’ve warmed up our minds and bodies with our clubs , we’ll shift focus to kettlebell basics. The techniques of proper grip, rack position, hinge etc will be covered
In the third portion of the workshop, we will develop the skills needed to perform the fundamental mace/Gada swings 360’s and 10&2’s safely and efficiently (additional accessory mobility work may be recommended)
You can bring your own indian clubs and mace or purchase your own prior to the event (PLEASE EMAIL FOR EQUIPMENT SUGGESTION LIST at [email protected]) Equipment will also be avaiable on site
