Do you enjoy working outside and have your own transportation to drive to meeting points within the Greater Detroit area (e.g. Troy, West Bloomfield, Novi, Northville, …)? Responsibilities include - Transport of material between lumberyards, stone yards, home improvement stores and our jobsites - Basic carpentry and landscaping - Clean up of jobsites and transport of debris to recycling centers - The work is physically demanding, varied and will consist of a changing mix of responsibilities and tasks - This position offers various opportunities to grow with us! Qualifications - Must have a valid driver’s license - Friendly, positive, customer service oriented attitude - Problem solver with ability to work independently and take initiative - Strong work ethic - Ability to work and walk in varying climate conditions and on uneven, slippery ground - Capacity to physically lift up to 50 lbs Preferred - Basic carpentry or handyman experience - Experience with operating a compact track loader - Experience with driving a trailer - Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Founded in 1980, Archadeck Outdoor Living is North America’s largest designer and builder of custom decks, screened porches, patios, sunrooms, outdoor living rooms, outdoor kitchens and other outdoor living structures.
