Networking in the Presence of Horses*…What? Yes, we mean up close and personal with real horses. This is not a gimmick. Networking in the Presence of Horses*…What?We are so excited to bring back this popular event -- there is no substitute for being in person in real life. Come gather to stretch into our longer days, reacquaint, and regenerate. Horses and humans have been interacting for thousands of years, and there is so much we can learn from being with them. With their prey-animal instincts, horses are sharp readers of the energy around them. They are attracted to and want to connect with people who show up authentically and express their true selves. Imagine a networking event where we share space in nature with our wise horse teachers. In addition to meeting and having genuine conversations with other women, the horses will offer us ways to connect with one another that have nothing to do with accomplishments, degrees or job experience. Join us in the pasture in beautiful Muir Beach where we will lead you through exercises to explore congruent communication. Then relax at the barn with lovely refreshments while continuing to deepen connections with others. Check-in is 5:30 p.m. Activities begin at 6:00 p.m. so please plan to arrive no later than 5:50 when we’ll walk to the pasture. Suggested Attire: Boots or other sturdy shoes, closed-toe shoes. Wear layers as weather on the coast can be changeable and the temperature will drop as the sun goes down. Bring sunglasses and a hat if it's sunny; a knit cap if the fog is in. *No horse handling or riding experience is required. All exercises will be conducted on the ground. FAQs What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Location: 1760 Shoreline Highway/CA 1, Muir Beach, California. Approximately 15 miles North of San Francisco and 15 minutes to the barn once you exit the freeway. Directions: US-1010 North - Take exit 445B for CA-1 toward Mill Valley/Stinson Beach - Continue onto CA - 1 N - Turn left to stay on CA-1N for 5 miles. The barn is right across from the Pelican Inn restaurant and entrance to Muir Beach.  **We highly suggest carpooling as parking space is limited at our barn. We do not recommend Uber/Lyft because it can be difficult to get a return ride.
