This year we will be hosting a battle as well as our normal display.
After taking a poll to gauge the interest and having the approval of the state park management we will host a D-Day Inland Battle reenactment this year. The scenario will be based around American troops attacking a German resistance nest in the Normandy countryside (using our trench area as the resistance nest) during the week(s) following the landings.
Outdoor camps are encouraged and over night camping Friday & Saturday is welcome. Those traveling a distance that want to stay Sunday night can be accommodated.
Schedule so far is (same for Saturday & Sunday):

0830 -Battle walk through
1000 -Display opens to the public (bldg 710), and camps east and south of museum
