HSOC operates a “No-Kill” Adoption Center and Veterinary Center, offering affordable veterinary services and spay/neuter clinics.Since 1964, HSOC has proudly served Ocean City and surrounding communities. Our Adoption Center has rescued and cared for many stray and abandoned pets. HSOC strives to place its homeless residents into loving forever homes. In September 2002, HSOC opened the Woody Johnson Medical Educational Building which houses our Veterinary Center with fully licensed, experienced veterinarians. You are welcome to bring your pets for affordable veterinary services or apply for spay or neuter appointments. The Veterinary Center has state-ofthe-art medical equipment that allows our staff to provide a full range of care for your pet. Together, with your financial support and volunteer efforts, we can live by our motto:“Providing the highest level of compassion and service to our animal friends!”
