Carter Playdate is a monthly program for children, ages 3–5 years old, and their favorite grown-up. Age: 3–5 years old with a favorite grown-up How high can you jump? How quickly can you crawl? Today is all about moving, moving, moving! We'll read Watch This! by Jane Godwin, explore Beauty and Life: The Finis Welch Collection, and spend the morning making action art and tumbling around the grassy bowl with family and friends. Join us each month for Carter Playdate, our free program for children ages 3 to 5 and their families.   American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request.  Registration opens March 1, 2022. The Amon Carter Museum of American Art was established through the generosity of Amon G. Carter Sr. (1879–1955) to house his collection of paintings and sculpture by Frederic Remington and Charles M. Russell; to collect, preserve, and exhibit the finest examples of American art; and to serve an educational role through exhibitions, publications, and programs devoted to the study of American art.
