Celebrate the Italian way.
A feast for All of Us!
"If you can't feed a hundred people, then just feed one." - Mother Teresa
Join us on Saturday, March 19 as an old tradition becomes a new tradition in Danville, IL.
The Feast of St. Joseph, which always falls in the middle of Lent, is especially commemorated and celebrated in Italy in general, and Sicily in particular, where St. Joseph has been long-regarded as the island’s Patron saint. It is there, among Sicilians, that the tradition of the “Tavola di San Giuseppe” or “St. Joseph’s Table” has its origins.
In honor of this tradition, we will celebrate with an Italian Feast and wash it down with wine and song.
And!!!, Every ticket purchased for Saturday, a ticket is automatically purchased for someone in need as we will feed the Women's Shelter and The Danville Mission with an equally big celebration.
Interested Volunteers and Sponsors can contact, Event Coordinator, Peter Blackmon at 217-260-4548.
Tickets go on sale, this Friday at 9AM.
This is not a fundraiser. All monies go into this event.
