SRJC CHOIR STUDENTS ARE “SINGING FOR OUR DREAMS” IN CONCERT! We've "Practiced! Practiced!" Practiced!" Support our Carnegie Hall Dream! SRJC CHOIR STUDENTS ARE “SINGING FOR OUR DREAMS” IN CONCERT! Join the Santa Rosa Junior College Concert Choir and Chamber Singers performing live onstage in Burbank Auditorium on - Wednesday, March 16th at 7:30 pm - presenting songs of faith, love, despair and hope. Featured will be Brahms’ beautiful choral work “Schicksalslied” (“Song of Destiny”) that will be performed in Carnegie Hall on April 17th by a choir of singers from Sonoma State University, Reedley College, and 26 singers from the SRJC Concert Choir and Chamber Singers. Conducting in Carnegie Hall will be Dr. Jenny Bent, Director of Choral Activities at SSU. Audience members 12 and older must be vaccinated (proof required at the door) and masked. Children under 12 may attend if they are masked while indoors. MANY OF OUR STUDENTS ARE FINANCIALLY CHALLENGED AND THIS TRIP TO NEW YORK CITY WILL BE A MAJOR EXPENSE FOR THEM.
