Learn to weave on a small loom! This class will teach you techniques of weaving, and you keep your loom!
Weaving is a skill set that has been growing in popularity and can be entirely within reach without expensive and giant equipment!
Learn to weave using small and accessible looms! These looms will be made for the students prior to arrival by a local artist (and often within the Studio 503 community!!). Small looms can be made using simple materials and provide a lovely opportunity to learn basic weaving techniques that show texture and imagery.
Each first Friday, learn a different method of weaving, with a different project. Bring a date, or bring your girlfriends for a girl’s Friday Night Out! Bring a beverage of choice and have fun learning how to weave!!
Supplies will be provided for student in class. Please bring your beverage of choice!
Grace McFetters is a fiber artist and pysanky artist, as well. She has taught egg art since 2011, having practiced the art since she was very young.
