Live music and dance from young Sacramento artists! Resource booths+merch! Show support to the Gender Health Center by donating! We have a little bit of something for everyone: indie music, contemporary dance, folk guitarist, and a prog metal band. I am Alejandra Vasquez-Crumpacker and a senior at CK McClatchy High School. For my senior project I want to uplift the Gender Health Center and promote their services because Transgender people do so much for LGBT community yet are the most brutalized and overlooked. With the rise in anti-trans bills across the United States, it is crucial that we support our Transgender friends, family, coworkers, and community. The Gender Health Center is a trans and POC-led, grassroots nonprofit organization that works to end systematic oppression and pathologization of Transgender people and racism while centering the wellness of Queer and Transgender People of Color. They provide a range of critical services such as a hormone clinic, a needle exchange program, PrEP prescriptions and HIV/STD healthcare, and assistance with legal name + gender changes, and more. But they cannot do it without individual donations and fundraisers.
