Celebrate Mother Earth with an outdoor family flick in Ballantyne's Backyard. Admission proceeds benefit Keep Charlotte Beautiful! Watch the Disney Pixar classic, WALL-E under the stars to celebrate Earth Day on Friday, April 22! The event will also feature food trucks, local brews, green-friendly activities and more for the whole family to enjoy. The film is rated G. Dinner and drinks will be available for purchase onsite from Bae's Burgers, International Truck of Tacos, What's Up Dog, Sycamore Brewing and Abbott's Frozen Custard. Ballantyne's Backyard opens at 5 p.m. The movie begins at 7 p.m. Admission is $5 per person, and proceeds benefit Keep Charlotte Beautiful. Walk-in entry is available for cash only. We do not accept credit cards onsite. Outside food and drinks are not permitted at this event — thank you for supporting our local food and beverage vendors!Pack a light blanket and chairs, then claim the perfect picnic spot for your group.Free parking is available in the decks along North Community House Road.In the event of inclement weather, we will communicate event cancellations or updates by noon on April 22.
