Join UNR Extension Douglas County Master Gardeners this spring for a 4 part workshop that will give you the tools needed to plant, grow, and maintain a successful vegetable garden in your backyard, side yard, community garden plot, container garden or wherever you have space to grow vegetables.
Dates: March 31 5:30-6:30 pm - The Basics : Location, Season, and Tools
April 7 5:30 - 6:30 pm - Garden Planning : Plant spacing, rotation, and soil
April 14 5:30 - 6:30 pm - Garden Maintenance : fertilizing and watering
April 21 5:30-6:30 pm - Pest & Disease : Common plant pest & disease diagnostic step and familiar with Integrate Pest Management
Registration is limited to 12
