CHICAGO — A police SWAT unit responded to a hotel near O'Hare International Airport Friday morning after an unidentified caller told police a man had threatened to shoot up the airport and the White House, police said. The man was taken into custody at 3:37 a.m., and charged against him are pending. Police said the anonymous tipster called the Chicago Police Department's front desk at O'Hare and told them his friend had sent a picture of himself with a gun in his car. "The caller stated his friend was checked into a hotel near O'Hare and that he told him he was going to 'shoot up' the White House and O'Hare Airport," police said.
