Memorial Day Hike at Thunderbird Mountain Task Force Archangel will be hosting our annual Memorial Day Hike at Thunderbird Conservation Park on Monday, May 30th (Memorial Day). This hike will be in honor of those brave men and women who have paid the ultimate price and sacrificed everything for their love of this country. On this day, we will hike the mountain, carrying the American Colors and the flags of each branch of service. We pause for reflection and prayer at the pinnacle of the hike. This event is FREE to all who wish to participate. You are encouraged to represent your branch (if you served) or the branch of a loved one you've lost. There will be NO politics- just people who wish to honor our fallen comrades. Please be respectful of that. The group will meet at 0700 (7am) at the base of the mountain at 55th Ave and Pinnacle Peak. This is family and pet friendly. BYOW (bring your own water) as it will be warm. No RSVP required. Donations will be accepted and all proceeds will be given to America's Gold Star Families.
