Florida in Spring Photography Workshop The quaint Victorian town of Mount Dora, Florida offers a laid back, relaxing getaway offering a glimpse of Old Florida country living. Located in Central Florida, it is only an hour from Orlando and conveniently close to Sanford/Orlando International Airport. Lakes, quiet country inns, shops, an old railroad station, a buffet of tasty dining options – all are within steps of each other in Mount Dora. Within walking distance is Trimble Park. A 1.3 mile nature trail, Trimble Park offers friendly outdoor adventure with access to abundant Florida wildlife beneath ancient oaks and cypresses. A quaint southern Victorian town, an easily accessible tropical park and beautiful Spring Florida weather offer photographers an excellent location to learn and enjoy Wildlife, Architecture, Street and Location portrait photography from two veteran professional photographers! Join us for a wonderful learning experience! This workshop is excellent for beginner through advanced photographers with two instructors, a maximum group of TEN participants providing a maximum of a 5:1 student to instructor ratio. There will be six, half day sessions of instruction and photography with flexibility for personal photography. Instruction will be tailored to each participants experience level and area of interest. What to Bring A DLSR or Mirrorless Camera. Telephoto, Normal and Wide angle or Zoom lenses if available, Extra batteries and Memory cards. We recommend bringing a camera bag or backpack, flash, tripod and other accessories. A tablet or laptop is up to you. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring rain gear, for you and your equipment. Historically April has been dry, however this is Florida, so come prepared for any type of weather. Cancellation Policy We reserve the right to cancel this workshop for reasons that include, but are not limited to, lack of enrollment, natural disaster or any other reason beyond our control. We are not responsible for any incidental or consequential expenses or damages that you may incur as a result of the cancellation. All participants will be refunded the workshop tuition charge. Purchase trip/travel insurance is recommended. Non-Participating Spouse/Partner Spouses or Partners are welcome to come along, however to participate in the workshop they must pay the tuition fee.
